The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) is pleased to present Introduction to Internet Investigations. The NW3C grants you a non-exclusive license to use the program only on the condition that you agree to all of the terms of this Agreement. Please read this Notice carefully before using the program. By using the program, you agree to the terms listed below. If you have received this program on CD, but do not agree to these terms, promptly return all copies of the CD to the NW3C. This is a legal agreement between you and the NW3C for Introduction to Internet Investigations (the "product").

CONDITIONS

  1. The NW3C is the owner of this copyrighted compilation of work. This agreement does not confer upon you any ownership or other property rights in the product.

  2. This product is provided to law enforcement professionals to help fight white collar crime. You may not sell or give copies of the product to anyone who is not a law enforcement professional employed by a governmental entity.

  3. THIS PRODUCT IS PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. THE NW3C MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO A WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, EXCLUSIVITY, OR RESULTS OBTAINED FROM YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.

  4. You will give the appropriate attributions, marks, and acknowledgement of the NW3C’s ownership of the product whenever or however you use the product. You are not permitted to use the name of the NW3C in promoting, in advertising, or any other form of publicity without the express written permission of the NW3C.

  5. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the NW3C for all liabilities, demands, damages, expenses, and losses arising out of your use of the product.

  6. You are not permitted to modify, revise, or change the product in any manner without the express written permission of the NW3C.

  7. The NW3C may terminate this agreement at any time upon written notice that your right to use the product has been terminated.

  8. You are not permitted to duplicate, sell, and/or distribute this product.
